hey since i was a kid i collected card games. I recently found a box of all my cards from childhood while cleaning. I have magic the gathering and i also picked up a world of war craft card game , thought it might be worth a lot of money since there a lot of people that play them now an days. I was wondering because i know nothing about world of war craft or their cards, but how do i find out how much a card is worth for the world of war craft?
Go to your local gaming/comic store
they sell a magazine that lists all TCG card prices
The magazine is called
“Inquest”
if I recall correctly, might even find it at a Barnes and Noble
but I can’t swear to that
Check out ebay. You don’t have to sign up to sell on ebay, just go on as a visitor. Put in the exact name of the card game. This will give you an idea whether people are selling them. It will give you a price range, too, and things to look for with your cards. Read the descriptions of what other people have. THEN FOLLOW THE BIDDING UNTIL THE END… WATCH IT ON THE LAST DAY, THE LAST MINUTE TO SEE WHAT IT SELLS FOR.
Another place to go is to “google” and put in the exact name of the cards. Do some research there.
And you might go to they have lots of different categories. You might have to do some digging, but it could show up. Craigslist is free, so you could take pics then post a listing (once you get an idea about how much you want to sell them for)
Sometimes the public library has books that tell about the value of antiques, from toys to furniture. More research. Comic book stores might have these cards, too? Call around. Do your research so you aren’t scammed.
