Is it possible to tie in the card game War?

In a game of war my opponent had 2 cards left. He turned over a Five and so did I, sending us to a war. His final card was a 4. I layed 3 cards face down and then also turned a 4. This would normally take us to a double war but due to my opponent having no cards left, would the game then end in a draw?

About Me
I think if you have all the remaining cards, you could just play out the double war and your opponent has nothing to respond with. Thus, you win.
Simple, you would win!
