Il recommend PS2. heheh its nice and all. considered for all ages. if u want more KIDER then i recomment sony psp. its suited for children and pocket pal likers too. but actually welll i give sony psp a thumbs up.
My 6 yr old has a V Tech V Smile. It teaches just about everthing you can ask for in a game system. It is usually found in the same isle as the leapster. The games are grouped by age and run about 20 dollars each.
the nintendo gamecube has all the mario kind of games like mario kart, luigi’s mansion, mario party 1,2,3,4,5,6, and 7. so i would go with the gamecube.:) you can find it cheap here
Of the most popular systems, Nintendo has the most kid-friendly games.
The Nintendo DS offers Brain Age and The Big Brain Academy. They are somewhat educational I guess. They won’t teach them any new information(besides mathematics) but they are supposed to “strengthen” your brain. Nintendo’s website has a special genre called “Edutainment” but if you were to click on it you would find there is currently nothing there.
Besides that, any role-playing game should strengthen your child’s reading skills as they’ll be encouraged to learn new words that may be presented in the story.
Buuut…all I know about are the main consoles. The Leapster L-Max I had never heard of until now.
any nintendo system id say.. the Nintendo DS (handheld) has the brain age series.. for brain excersizes
Try the Nintendo Cube.
you know if only there were some good sims games that dont include nasty stuff then it would teach them about growing up
