What is missing in the current educational system?

You asked this question a couple days ago. I responded “God.” My answer was reported in violation of cimmunity values as gaming and 11 points was taken from my score. Well, the answer is valid! When I was growing up, not that long ago, I was REQUIRED to say The Pledge of Allegiance to “One nation UNDER God!” So, I am posting the question again in order to prove my point that my anwer was valid. Anyone who disagrees, has to be merely an atheistic anti-American moron! The day the United States thinks it is above God or can BE God, is the day you and this government has lost all sense of reality, reasoning and true American values! If God was put back in the schools, and mind you, I do not care in the least what the laws say, the country will be better off for it and so will our children. This country was founded and built on these very principles and you can kill me or sue me or imprison me in your machine worshipping game all you want and I will still feel the same way. 
I will feel this way to my very last dying breath just as my lifelong father, a career United States Marine did when he fought and gave his entire life for this country! God is what is missing from the current educational system in America! Not your TV enslavement self glorifying video game God, the real super natural creator of the universe, GOD and just like my father, I will fight for that notion to my last breath. Period. Say what you will. You’ll never change my mind. Ever!
And just to show who’s doing this to me and us, I posted this question in the educational category but when submitted, it somehow landed in the Law and Ethics category.
..and to the kid that responded, “Fun” is what’s missing, I’m here to tell you that school is full of fun. I played in band, went to football games, studied history, learned how to act socially, worked hard at mathematics and much more and it was ALL fun to me.

you are sooo right. we get introuble if we talk about religion in class. someone REALLY needs to do something about this nonsense.
You are correct. God is missing from school and from politics. OUr founders never meant sepration of church and state to become what the Godless democrats have made it. It was designed to keep Gov. from regulating religion, christian religion.
Also missing from school is a ciriculum designed to make our kids as smart as possible. For the past 40 years they have been dumbing down our kids in an effort to make it equal for everyone.
I don’t disagree with you entirely but I just have to challenge you because that is my nature.
I have four children that all attended public school. I can assure you that God was there with them. Also, that they were well aware of it.

i agree with you that that’s one of the things that are missing but i also think alot of kids are growing up without respect-not for themselves or others..when i was in school we would never have spoken to a teacher the way some of todays kids do.we would have never even thought about it.also teachers have no rights in disciplining our kids and i’m not advocating corpral punishment but our teachers shouldn’t be afraid of lawsuits because they belive in keeping their kids in order.we use to be afraid to act out in school and now it’s the teachers that are scared.

Teachers spend 4-8 years in college.. literally.. cutting out paper and doing workshops. They spend too much time working on activities, even for highschoolers, in which the activity will teach something to them. Its “CREATIVE.” Its pathetic, i say.. Its the Liberal mind process, tho.
I remember one time.. my english teacher was absent one day before a test.. and she left a mes were being tested on a book containing 10 short stories).. are you SERIOUS?! we were like.. are we in PRE-K AGAIN?! .. some people, instead, drew a picture of the kool-aid man getting a bl*wj0b from a mermaide and saying “OHHHH-YEAAA” … Not the best thing to do after you complain about not being little kids… but im ina low level english class with a bunch of drunk partying kids who like to drink kool-aid when they have the munchies =).
The day after the test.. she cut apart each box and showed us, then we had to guess what story the picture came from..
..lol?..
The time we had to describe what we would want to live/look like if we ever had to go thru the Witness Protection System was pretty lame too.. it did have sum nasty inside jokes in it tho =) rofl good times..
A solid #2 lame thing i had to do in my Senior english class is after we read “I am the cheese”… we had to make a candyland game.. but we had to replace all of the old stops, with new stops that the boy took on his trip.. ***!!!!!

I love it when, in multiple choice tests. like.. I circle “C” and on accident, not paying attention.. i put “B” in the answer box.. and the teacher damn-well knows it.. and when i protest it, she doesnt give me the points back because i made a mistake… I KNEW THE ANSWER, I KNEW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT, ITS NOT A TOUGH FIX IN YOUR ‘PRE-PROGRAMMED, ENTER A NUMBER AND ILL DO THE REST SO YOU DONT HAFTA WORK TOO HARD CUZ GOD KNOWS YOU WORK TOO MANY HOURS IN 1 WEEK’ GRADING PROGRAM. ARENT TESTS MADE SUPPOSEDLY SO TEACHERS CAN FIND OUT WHAT YOU KNOW AND W/E? THEN WHY DO I STILL NOT GET THE POINT? .. WHY IS IT SO SACRED THAT EVEN AFTER THIS WHOLE ARGUEMENT, HAVE YOU STILL NOT GIVEN ME THE WHOLE 2 POINTS? WHY ARE THESE 2 POINTS SO IMPORTANT TO ME? … BECAUSE THEY ARE MY POINTS! YOU CANT JUST TAKE POINTS FROM ME BECAUSE THEY ARENT THAT MUCH, THEY ARE MINE!
I swear to god, every student has had this arguement with their teacher, atleast once a week. You said this exact thing to your teacher, you did… you know why i know? Because its pre-programmed in your brains when your born… the script is fused in with your genes from when your parents, grandparents, GREAT grandparents and so on said the same f’ing thing.
Teachers…
They work 6 hours a week in a VERY relaxed, unsupervised environment. They have a ten-year or w/e at every school. They are one of the most stable jobs in america. There are laws protecting teachers from being fired. Why are there none for most other blue/white collar jobs? They get paid what they deserve to get paid… YET THEY STILL WANT MORE MONEY?!?!?!?! GO FIGURE?
MY dad works as a computer tech, knows any system inside and out. Why? Because he was laid off so many times by companies that he had to spend his time doing SOMETHING. WHY, when my dad works 12 hours a day, bends over backwards to get a job that he can keep.. do teachers get their own TEACHERS UNION protecting their job stability and wages, and basically supporting any uneccessary thing teachers need? 3 times my dad got laid off, 3 times his job went overseas… 3 times every1 said ‘O Well. thats life.’
Yet, teachers think they deserve more then minimum wage (which they CERTAINLY dont get) and they think they deserve a union. Only other jobs that get unions are low-wage blue collar jobs like masonry and federal construction workers. Cry on teachers, my ears and my sympathy are shut.
Teachers get 10x more vacation days then regular workers, and for the 180 days they work there. Try one week (IF YOUR LUCKY) vaca time every 365 days. And, Personal/Sick days? Excuse me? .. been working too hard? need a personal day to relax your tired brain? Aww, poor baby. Sick for a day? Guess what, your sub gets paid of course.. guess who else gets paid.. the teacher.
Back to the Educational System.. if youre a teacher, instead of those 4 years you spend playing with blocks ( I had a great German Teacher, who has retired and now works as a mason, who admitted to us.. that 2/3 years that he spent in GRAD school, all he did was play with blocks and cut out paper, learning “activities” that he never used. Wanna know why they do those things for 2+ years in college, away from the liberal reasons, its to get higher degrees, thus more pay.. more money they didnt work for)
Teachers should be taking psychology and political class, thus making them more intelligent and understanding of how to teach kids. Teaching should be a science, not a liberal playground of non-sense. Im not voting to pay more taxes so teachers can buy more colored pencils.. ill pay more taxes when my money is going to them going back to college for real intellectual classes.
Dont just have a major in your subject, have a major in how to teach your subject to the group of children your teaching.
Lastly, and quickly, i promise.. i love how teachers think they know how to parent you more then your real parents do. Tuesday, we had 2 midterms in the morning, and the rest of the day was full of study halls + movies.. so (being seniors) a bunch of people got notes from parents (realizing you cant just leave, you would have less of an arguement) to leave after they were done midterms. Notes like “Doctors Appt.” or w/e. Regardless, it was signed by a parent. The same one that pays their salaries, the same one that decided to put them into school in the first place… its not law to send your kid to a public school.. and the principal said, “Nope, you cant leave unless you have a doctors note!” BULLSH*T. They did it because they knew it was a lie to get out.. but thats not the point. The point is the persons parent decided it was ok for the kid to return home, and its none of the principals business whether or not they agree with it. So, every1 left anyways and now the school thinks they are going to hand out saturday detentions. hah… My school locked up all the bathrooms in the school for NO logical reason (unlogical reasons, but certainly no reasonable ones) during classtime. They only opened one. Know what we did? Called the Board of Health and when they stepped in, they told the school, if they didnt open the bathrooms in 1 month, they will be fined 3,000 dollars a day. PWNT!

If you say God or w/e then you shouldnt get penalized. End of Story. However, teaching religion is a crime for a reason. Religion is a VERY debatable concept for MANY good reasons. The existance of god or jesus is doubtful. The morals religion teaches should be taught, but you dont need religion to teach them, just a motivating teacher you look up to. A teacher shouldn’t teach religion or promote it.
Something to consider:
I dont know the exact name of it. something vs. something its called in history books. A supreme court case. Took place at a time when religion was a hugggge part of EVERY1’s life and no1 questioned it or youd be hung, yet soon after darwins book came out. A proffessor promoted + taught Darwinism in his class. His students rebeled against religous radicals and mahem broke loose. Teaching religion could lead to a visa-versa of that on non-believers.
