I want to open a Trading Card Game Store but don’t know the first thing about it can anyone help me?

I am almost 16 years old and I plan to go to college. My parents are willing to pay for me to go to college but I want to prove to myself and to them that I am more than capable of doing things on my own. I want to show them I am responsible and that I can make decisions for myself. I want to open my own Trading card game store. I don’t know the first thing about it and I would like to know: Do I have to be 18? How much will it cost for the property I’m looking for a small amount of space…. Maybe only about 750-1500 SQ Ft. And I live in Southern California. Any other advice that you have please let me know.

In response to edg8244. The reason being that most local Trading card game stores are a family business therefore I cannot get a job there. Your answer really wasn’t helpfull at all. Although I’m sure you’re just answering questons with obvious answers to get points anyways.
