What are the educational requirements for working at Best Buy?

Do I need a GED or High School Diploma in order to apply? I’m asking because I’m a homeschooler.

Also, I am generally more knowledgable than the average folk on technology and how to use it. I understand pretty well (past the basics) the working of HDTVs, audio equipment, computers, video games and the systems to play them on, and media formats and hardware (not so say I don’t have a lot that I could learn). How important is knowledge of technology in acquiring a position there?

    Retail doesn’t take much; its how you do in influencing the interviewer that you are right for that company.

    If you know electronics and the products they sell, you have no worries. Math, geography, etc won’t help when you interact with a customer, you have the knowledge of the products going in.
