What’s a fun and uncommon card game that is quick to teach?

I have to teach my class how to play a card game anything thats fun and is easy to learn? It cant be like common so no blackjack, poker, go fish etc. thank(:

    I personally enjoy rummy.

    My favorite is Gin Rummy.
    Here is an idea:
    Break the class in small groups.
    Have each group invent a new card game.
    Have each group explain their new game to the class.
    Have the groups play each other’s games.
    Have the class vote on the best new game.
