I want to open a Trading Card Game Store but don’t know the first thing about it can anyone help me?

Ryan N asked:

I am almost 16 years old and I plan to go to college. My parents are willing to pay for me to go to college but I want to prove to myself and to them that I am more than capable of doing things on my own. I want to show them I am responsible and that I can make decisions for myself. I want to open my own Trading card game store. I don’t know the first thing about it and I would like to know: Do I have to be 18? How much will it cost for the property I’m looking for a small amount of space…. Maybe only about 750-1500 SQ Ft. And I live in Southern California. Any other advice that you have please let me know.

What is needed for electronic and interactive board & card game equipment?

gilmett@yahoo. asked:

I’m a little bit computer illiterate here about electronics. We have 2 computers in our home, one is a desktop and another is a laptop. My sister and I living in the same home would like to play scrabble, and card games with each other on different computers. Someone told me we would have to go online in order to play each other. We had hoped some way we could network the 2 computers, to do this. Or would we have to purchase a play station, or an xBox to interact with each other in our games?

Can anyone remember the name of this computer game?

Showsni asked:

I’m trying to remmeber the name of a computer game, probably from the 90s. It was an educational game, featuring a detective. There were several minigames included; one was to do with describing what people were wearing, I think… One was just a plane flying across a map of the world. You could steer it, and the name of the continent you were flying over was shown. One was to find a gem in a pyramid; you had to answer questions based on history, then break open the corresponding block in the pyramid (which would show a date; more specific dates as the questions got harder) with a hammer to find a map for the next pyramid. (Out of hammers, and you had to go home.) There was some kind of currency converter, I think. And one game (again with questions; general knowledge or geography, I think) where at the end he’d jump in a car and drive away. Any ideas?
Whilst it seems similar to Carmen Sandiego, it’s not. There’s no overarching plotline in this game, and indeed no real storyline at all.

What is missing in the current educational system?

niceguy asked:

You asked this question a couple days ago. I responded “God.” My answer was reported in violation of cimmunity values as gaming and 11 points was taken from my score. Well, the answer is valid! When I was growing up, not that long ago, I was REQUIRED to say The Pledge of Allegiance to “One nation UNDER God!” So, I am posting the question again in order to prove my point that my anwer was valid. Anyone who disagrees, has to be merely an atheistic anti-American moron! The day the United States thinks it is above God or can BE God, is the day you and this government has lost all sense of reality, reasoning and true American values! If God was put back in the schools, and mind you, I do not care in the least what the laws say, the country will be better off for it and so will our children. This country was founded and built on these very principles and you can kill me or sue me or imprison me in your machine worshipping game all you want and I will still feel the same way. :P
I will feel this way to my very last dying breath just as my lifelong father, a career United States Marine did when he fought and gave his entire life for this country! God is what is missing from the current educational system in America! Not your TV enslavement self glorifying video game God, the real super natural creator of the universe, GOD and just like my father, I will fight for that notion to my last breath. Period. Say what you will. You’ll never change my mind. Ever!
And just to show who’s doing this to me and us, I posted this question in the educational category but when submitted, it somehow landed in the Law and Ethics category.
..and to the kid that responded, “Fun” is what’s missing, I’m here to tell you that school is full of fun. I played in band, went to football games, studied history, learned how to act socially, worked hard at mathematics and much more and it was ALL fun to me.
