Hmm… for an interactive one that you don’t have to download, maybe online bowling! I love it, it’s addicting… just google “online bowling” and it’ll show up. For something that you’d have to download but is SO much fun, N (google N metanet software to download) is a lot of fun and I’ve played it for hours on end and not gotten bored.

um, portals is good if you can find a free version of it….but it’s cheap to buy too, so…it’s amazingly fun. =)
OMG if you have internet, CUBUS definatly. Or go to addictinggames.com (I think I spelt that wrong but im 2 lazy to check! =p) Also, SPLODER, you can make or just play games! FUNFUNFUN!!! If not, then Macs, chess is the only FREE one I know, and Dells, spider solitary, pinball, and another one that you have to try to not click the bombs and you have to guess which ones are bombs!

Are you looking for a in browser game? is a great site for a seemingly endless supply of flash based games. Some are crap, while some are fantastic. If you’re into the mmorpg social thing, runescape (www.runescape.com) may be your thing, though I tend to find that one a bit too immature for me (the general crowd that plays ranges between 12-16 year olds).
If you’re looking for a new game to purchase to only take up an hour or so of your time, I would recomend a turn based strategy game that you can stop in the middle of a game and come back to later (Civilization 3 or 4 or Heroes of Might and Magic [number 3 is the best])or a builder simulation (The Sims, Roller Coaster Tycoon 3). Spore is also a pretty good one to just kill an hour or so of time.
