How do you find your computers statistics in order to see if you are able to play a computer game?

I just purchased a game called Microsoft Flight Simulator Gold Edition and I try to load the disc into my computer but it will not register in the Cd drive. Anyone please help me so I can play the game. Could you please give me some instructions that would be great??? I really want to play this game so bad but it will not even load??? Thanks for those who help me!!!

    click on “can i run it?”
    then chose your game frrom the list and it will let you know if your computer can run it

    but since the computer is not recognizing the game, could be that the drive is broken. It will still recognize it even if it cant play it

    It will load a program onto your computer in order to investigate its stats, but its very safe and can easily be uninstalled after.

    check if what you’ve bought is a dvdrom or cdrom. if you don’t have a dvd drive it won’t play.

    if you have vista you can find your system spec through the welcome centre. also you can look in control panel device manager to check hardware etc.
