No it would not. In fact, what I sometimes do is copy the game onto a cd or flash drive. Then, after a format, I can just copy the entire game folder to my harddrive and play it from there. Saves time installing it. Plus, if a friend comes over with a laptop, you use your copy, and have him run it off the flash drive.
