    You can get a bootable linux CD with games on it. You essentially boot the entire OS into system RAM and never touch the hard drive. Many of them will come with a decent selection of simple games. There is even a project from gentoo.org that had UT2004 Demo on it.

    Unfortunatly there is no game of today that ive seen that you can simply insert the disc and play. Im interested to find out though!

    well, I hear that there’s a program out there that allows you to play your flash drive as though it were a hard drive, and you can install games onto there as if it were a hard drive. Can’t recollect the name.
