There she is!!! asked:
If I’m to pick the right curriculum that fits my childs learning style how will I know? She’s only 3 so she really only has a playing style right now. Although she is very smart. What are some things I might do to find how she’s most comfortable learning? I definately don’t want to make her sit down with worksheets at 3 years old! But if playing educational games is too unstructured for her, I’m scared I’m going to choose the wrong one. Any tips are helpful-thanks

I’m looking for a kid’s PC game from the 90’s… from what I can remember, it was an educational game with 5 characters. There were numerous activities that you could do with each character (spelling words correctly would say, cause a bee to pop a balloon or something). The main thing that I remember is that each character had a song that they performed.
One was a blue (?) hairy creature that sang a song that started with “Frog slime, goat grime, fun time, rhyme a rooey”. There was also what I seem to remember as… perhaps a dog? who sang “I hear a hen on the hay, are you listening? Big beagles bark by the bay, are you listening?”.
There was also another creature (maybe a squirrel) that “rapped” about “Rap-so-dee” (Rhapsody). Another creature (hippo?) played the piano for her song, and one last creature sang a country song.
PLEASE, if you have any clue what I’m talking about, remind me of the title.
Thanks Louise… I don’t use eBay that often, so I’ll have to figure out how to go about doing that, but it’s a great suggestion!

I know nothing about video games. I just got a DS for my daughter’s birthday! She just turned 7. I am looking for girly games. Educational games would be best! Any suggestions?

Im doing a WWII presentation as a presentation tomorrow. I need a educational game to play at the end. It needs to be related to WWII.
my presentation is specifically about the important events of WWII, so if it is related to an important event that would be great too.
it can be for outside running around on a feild we have balls and rope etc, or it can be a card game
thanks for helping me out! Presentations are stressful!
thanks for the ideas, I like the British bull dog charge idea, im gonna wait a little while for more answers though.
Thankyou for the information too, Barbarossa is in my pres but i had no idea it was that important, thanks.

and I would prefer some educational value.. We have a Leapster L-Max already, but the kids are starting to want something a bit more fast-paced.
